News From the Past Week

Deal News

  • AltC Acquisition Corp. (ALCC) announced a deal to acquire Oklo, an advanced fission technology and nuclear fuel recycling company. The deal reflects a pre-money equity value of $850mm and is expected to close in late 2023 or early 2024.

  • Bellevue Life Sciences Acquisition Corp. (BLAC) signed an LOI with OSR Holdings, a global healthcare holding company, with the goal of completing a business combination in Q4 2023.


Deal Closings & Approvals

  • Galata Acquisition Corp. (formerly GLTA) closed its acquisition of Marti Technologies on Monday 7/10/2023 with 4% of public shares remaining. Ordinary shares and warrants are now trading on the NYSE as “MRT” and “MRT/W.”

  • Alpha Healthcare Acquisition Corp. III (formerly ALPA) closed its acquisition of of Carmell Therapeutics on Friday 7/14/2023 with 19% of public shares remaining. Ordinary shares and warrants are set to begin trading on the NASDAQ as “CTCX” and “CTCXW” Monday 7/17/2023.

  • Freedom Acquisition I Corp. (FACT) shareholders approved the company’s acquisition of Complete Solaria at a meeting Tuesday 7/11/2023 with less than 1% of public shares remaining. FACT subsequently added enough PIPE and FPA financing to meet the deal’s $100mm minimum cash condition.

  • Newsfile reported that DevvStream Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: DSTRF) (FSE: CQ0), a technology-focused carbon streaming company, has signed a LOI with an unspecified SPAC.
