Did you know SPAC Research offers data via API for rapid and continuous access?

We've recently added new data points to our API coverage, including an enumeration of upfront and deferred underwriting fees and business combination marketing agreements for all SPACs.

In addition, we’ve recently exposed new data points for live SPAC deals that were previously only available for closed SPAC deals. These new data points contain additional information associated with anticipated financing for individual deSPAC transactions related to:
  • Backstop investments
  • Convertible/Preferred Investments
  • FPA investments activated in connection with closing

Deal News

  • Larkspur Health Acquisition Corp. (LSPR) announced a deal to acquire ZyVersa Therapeutics, a clinical stage specialty biopharmaceutical company attempting to address renal and inflammatory diseases. The deal reflects an enterprise value of $108.9mm and includes a $7mm PIPE. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2022.

  • ITHAX Acquisition Corp. (formerly ITHX) closed its acquisition of Mondee on Monday 7/18/2022 with 3.5% of public shares remaining. Ordinary shares and warrants are now trading on the NASDAQ as “MOND” and “MONDW.”

  • B. Riley Principal 150 Merger Corp. (formerly BRPM) closed its acquisition of FaZe Clan on Tuesday 7/19/2022 with 8% of public shares remaining. Ordinary shares and warrants are now trading on the NASDAQ as “FAZE” and “FAZEW.”

  • ArcLight Clean Transition Corp. II (formerly ACTD) closed its acquisition of OPAL Fuels on Thursday 7/21/2022. Redemption statistics were not provided. Ordinary shares and warrants are now trading on the NASDAQ as “OPAL” and “OPALW.”

  • CC Neuberger Principal Holdings II (formerly PRPB) closed its acquisition of Getty Images on Friday 7/22/2022. Redemption statistics were not provided. Ordinary shares and warrants are expected to begin trading on the NYSE as “GETY” and “GETY/W” beginning Monday 7/25/2022.

  • Aesther Healthcare Acquisition Corp. (AEHA) and United Gear & Assembly mutually agreed to terminate their business combination agreement.

  • Fortune Rise Acquisition Corporation (FRLA) and VCV Digital Technology mutually agreed to terminate their business combination agreement.

  • East Resources Acquisition Company (ERES) announced it has signed a LOI with a vertically integrated alternative asset manager specializing in specialty insurance products, with a focus on origination, asset management, valuation and servicing. Additional details are expected in late Q3.

  • Alpine Acquisition Corporation (REVE) announced it would issue a dividend of 0.665 shares to non-redeeming holders of common stock sold in its IPO.

  • Bloomberg reported that Frazier Lifesciences Acquisition Corporation (FLAC) is in talks with Netherlands-based pharma company NewAmsterdam Pharma.

  • SolarMax Technology filed an S-1 for an IPO on Tuesday 7/19/2022. SolarMax terminated its deal to be acquired by Alberton Acquisition Corporation (ALAC) in April with the SPAC liquidating shortly thereafter.

  • The New York Times reported that word of Digital World Acquisition Corp.'s (DWAC) deal with Trump Media is said to have leaked months in advance.
